We're excited to present this year's Pop-up Exhibition as part of Sydney Ceramics Market 2025: RECIPROCITY.
Ceramicists engage with reciprocity through the practice and craft of pottery. It's a conversation—a giving and receiving. It begins with an idea, and they collaborate with the clay to bring it to life. They must work in reciprocity with it. Otherwise, the clay will resist.
Showcasing one-off pieces by 32 local ceramic artists, each has created works in the spirit of reciprocity, inviting audiences to take what resonates with them and carry it forward.
